The Northampton Area Food Bank is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven charitable organization serving residents of the Northampton Area School District and adjacent areas. It is operated entirely by volunteers and is affiliated with the Northampton Ecumenical Clergy Association, and is a participating member agency of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Lehigh Valley and Northeastern Pennsylvania.

There is a vital need for food and monetary donations at the Food Bank. There has been an increase in clients due to the present economy. The following items are needed for distribution immediately:
Canned Soups, Canned Potatoes, Jello, Pudding, Dried Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables, Baked Beans, Canned Meats and Beef Stew
